The Painted Turtle 

The Painted Turtle supports children's medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education, and respite for their families.  There is no billing department. All campers and families attend free of charge.

To support this cause, our chapter hosts the largest campus event of the Spring, Great Pretenders. This is a lip syncing competition, and this past year we raised over $4,000! 

At the last National Covention our chapter won a national award for "Most Service Hours per an Event" for Great Pretenders. 

Starkey Hearing Foundation

In 2015, Delta Zeta as national organization pledged to raise $5 million over the next five years for speech and hearing, and to donate that amount to Starkey Hearing Foundation. Delta Zeta Sorority was also named an Honoree at the 2015 Starkey Awards Gala. This intiative is known as the "Hike for Hearing." 

Our chapter supports Starkey in helping them achieve their mission statement, "So the World May Hear" by hosting A Kick in the Grass Kickball tournament and hosting Learn to Listen Week.
